Mobile numbers of these fraudulent calls usually start with +92

These calls can be either be a normal voice call or a WhatsApp call

Purpose of these calls is to obtain one’s personal and sensitive information like bank account number or debit card details

Citizens are lured into giving their details on the pretext of fake lottery or lucky draw

The fraudsters will try to make it look legit by authorising the message with signature from a fake authority

They may also share QR code and Barcode with the message. Never scan such QR code

Scamsters often make frequent calls to the prey number

Fraudsters are also reportedly making calls from numbers starting with +01
